Brown rice pasta is definately good. Stay away from any wheat/regular pasta has it has TONS of gluten which is no good.

Diet is everything! i cant tell you the amount of times i would yell at my clients when i was a trainer for telling me they were going to go out and get some dunkin donuts after a session. Pasta is good and bad. Great for a meal before a workout because it will provide Carbs that will give you energy to have a good work out. Bad because if those carbs are not used up, they will be stored as fat  As to your first question, i know you work alot and go to school, but what is better lifting or running? BOTH! both need to combined in an effective way to maximize your weight loss. I was a full time student, worked 4-5 days a week, went to the gym, and trained for boxing 2 hours a day for my entire sophmore year in college. You can make the time if you get serious about it. I know you can lose the weight because i saw my laziest freaking clients lose 10-20 lbs in a 3 week span. Just stay with it and youll be losing the weight in no time!Originally Posted by shorty26

I would love to join a gym, unfortunately, there is no money for a gym right now. But I have made some great progress running the track at a local school and doing body weight exercises at home. Oh, yeah, and eating right. Once again, thanks for everyone's great advice.
