Kittens

Hello, I am not sure what to do. I had a cat that had kittens then disappeared when the babies were about 5 days old. I called up a friend that does not work and asked her to help with the understanding that I would pay for everything the kittens needed until they were old enough to be adopted to good homes. Well over the course of a week my friend became more demanding even going so far as asking for tarps and bubble wrap for her furniture because according to her "kittens destroy furniture". I had already spend over $200 on formula, bottles and towels. So we decided to go get the kittens and try to care for them ourselves. When my husband got to her house and told her we were taking the kittens home she wigged out. Told him to leave and refused to give up the kittens. So he left but we are not sure what to do about the kittens. What do we do?

Stop sending her money. Be thankful she has the kittens. Call the Humane Society if you think they are being abused.
