Funeral services today for Captain Drew Russell

Vicksburg, MICH. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Funeral services are taking place today at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Vicksburg for Army Captain Drew Russell.
The 25 year old native from Scotts was killed in an attack earlier this month in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
Flags are flying at half staff throughout the state to honor his memory.
Earlier Thursday morning a motorcade transported the hearse from Langeland Family Funeral Homes Westside Chapel in Oshtemo Township.
People lined the road to show their support for the fallen hero.
After the funeral around 12:20pm, the motorcade will head east on W. Avenue to Vicksburg Cemetery.
Russell's body will be laid to rest with full military honors in the military section of the cemetery.
RIP :( You will be missed.
