LAPD Bulldozes House, Finds Cop Shooter Sergio O. Salazar Dead Inside


LAPD K-9 Officer Steve Jenkins was shot in the jaw. It appears the round exited and re-entered the body at his collarbone. He had damage to arteries and lungs in his body but is expected to survive. Jenkins was responding to a domestic violence report and entered the house with a key provided by the wife who fled after being assaulted. Jenkins will need extensive surgery to repair his jaw. Jenkins is a 22 year veteran whose wife and son are both LAPD officers.

LAPD used the bomb squads remote controlled bulldozer to start tearing away at the house to get at the shooter. The shooter was found dead.
