Harris County Precinct 6 Reserve Deputy Carltrell Odom, 22, was killed Thursday night. He was robbed by four teens and was shot three times as he was running back to his vehicle to retrieve his weapon after a brief physical confrontation.
Deputy Odom's funeral was held today as family, friends, and law enforcement colleagues remembered his heart, plans for the future, and his service to his community.
I work in an adjacent county, and we all feel the loss of a fallen brother. Please add him and his loved ones to your thoughts and prayers.
