My thoughts and Prayers are with his widow. It is always tragic when a fellow officer is down.. This one is a bit more sad as he was only at FCSO for 2 months. and relocated from duty in CT.

Deputy Sease was struck and killed by a vehicle being pursued by other officers following a disturbance at a bar in Flagler Beach at 0300 hours. Deputy Sease was attempting to deploy stop sticks on an exit ramp from I-95 when he was struck by the suspect's vehicle. After the collision, the suspect's vehicle then went out of control and crashed. The suspect was taken to a local hospital under police custody.
Deputy Sease had been with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office for only two months and had previously served with the Waterbury, Connecticut, Police Department for five years. He is survived by his wife.
