Please keep in your prayers Sergeant O'Reilly of the Chicago Police Department for he lost his life in the line of duty on Sunday, 16 Mar 03. He was broadsided by a tow truck and thrown from his vehicle at roughly 0500 hours. He was on the force for 16 years and leaves behind a wife and 6 children. The funeral is set for Thursday and will be my second cop funeral in the past two weeks. Our first deputy superintendent, second in command of the CPD had a heart attack and died on 06 Mar 03. God rest their souls.

I was saddened to hear of his accident, Saw it on Channel 7 news at 6am. Ia m from Suburban Chicago and will attend his services personally If it is approved

I was also very saddened to hear of the tradgedy. I am with The Cook County sheriff's Department and my lifelong pal is CPD. It struck very close to home.
