    A salute to the fallen...

    A damned tragedy.

Cowardly god damned criminal scumbag. I can't adequately express how furious I am. Tragedy aside, oxygen thieves like this inspire me to strive even more diligently to achieve my goal of becoming a police officer and cleaning up my little corner of the world.

To the 4 officers who gave their lives selflessly in the name of improving the life of Canadians, thank you.

Just damn. :( Am I reading this story right? The bastard took out the detail securing the farm after the raid had taken place? My relatives are 70 miles from there. My Mother in law would know the families for sure.

The one bad guy is dead, but how he died isn't known. It was first suggested that he was shot by police, but other reports say he was found dead in a closet presumably from a self inflicted gun shot wound. F'n coward either way.

When I was at work today, I heard on the news that after the drug raid last night two police officers were posted to watch over the grow operation and the stolen property. It was speculated that he killed the two cops last night and then waited for the others this morning, but that isn't known. The latest I heard is that all the shootings occured at once this morning, but I guess it isn't fair to speculate anymore.

Yeah, I listened to it on the radio and then watched it from the link Bryan posted. He was sure glaring at that one reporter with the long hair. He just lost four of his co-workers and there is no reason to be interupting him during this press conference.

    I'm speachless...

Such a terrible tragedy.... To all RCMP members and especialy to those working in Alberta... please accept my condoleances.

To the famillies of the 4 cops ... God be with you to support each of you in that difficult event.

It's really out of my mind that such a situation did occur... How can a single individual take out four armed officers?

I guess we will know more as time goes on...

Again my deepest condoleances to every one touched by such a tragic event!

And BTW... Can someone pull that damn impolite reporter on a seat bell violation or a stop sign whenever we cross his road... GRRRRRR would I have slapped him !!!!

I hope a RCMP cruiser pulled him over down the road!

    This is such a tragedy.

Words cannot express how awful this is. May these brave men RIP and may their families take some solace from the fact that these officers died doing a great service to this country. They will not be forgotten.
