Since they moved the deer from the scene they were disturbing an accident scene so they can be charged to that too.


I like it.
We have a wolf preserve and a big cat preserve within an hours drive from the city. The cat place wouldn't drive out, but would take the deer if someone drove it to them (we wouldn't, but if a citizen wanted to, they could). The wolf place would always come out within a couple hours, didn't matter the time.
Something changed in the past month or two, they're not allowed to have the deer anymore. Now our streets department comes out the next day. Shame too. We got free removal, the wolves got the meat, the lady who runs the preserve gets free meat with only the cost of the gas to come get it. Why we went from a "everyone wins" situation to having someone from the streets department taking time out of his daily work to come get it, then pay to dispose it, is beyond me
