Thats what the dispatcher inquired after reading the weather from the computer.
I told her was easy to explain. Ping pong size hail weighs less.
Ping pong hail is like a blondes head. It tends to be
hollow. For some reason she just up and hit me. (wanna guess who is blond?)

the difference between golf ball and ping pong sized hail......
On a clear night, I can see the other deputies emergency lights at least 10 miles away.
But it isnt flat here LOL

Years ago, I was up in our radio division for some reason and saw one of the dispatchers I knew doing some sort of computer input. I walked over and mentioned that I hadn't heard her on the air lately. She explained through clenched teeth that she had to have her jaw wired shut for some reason or other.
I mentioned as I walked away, "I bet you don't get asked out much now".
I still have the scar.....Apparently, I'm supposed to be more angry about what Mitt Romney does with his money than what Barack & Michelle Obama do with mine
