    A very whacked out turtle

Does anyone on here have an aquatic turtle? I have a female four year old red ear slider that is driving me crazy. She is frantically swimming, won't eat...I have changed the water, cleaned the filter, etc., etc., etc. Everything I read on the web says maybe she is trying to lay an egg. This has been going on for two days.

I know this sounds crazy compared to other problems going on but she is normally a very nice turle .....any help would be appreciated.
Jim Reed: You just have to know how to arrest them and still make them like you. We call it technique.

I don't know the answer, but I can tell you are very worried about your pet, and I feel for you. (You might want to consult a reptile veterinarian.)

She needs some dirt to dig in and lay her eggs sounds like.
