Tonight I got a call from a very good friend (also an LEO) that his 15 year old nephew, Gabriel, had passed away at school earlier today. Seems he had an aneurysm which exploded while he was in computer class. He just fell off his chair and was gone.
This boy was more like a son than a nephew to my friend. They were very close and my friend is taking this very hard. I can't begin to feel the pain he must be feeling now, and he really needs some good thoughts for peace directed his way.
Please say some prayers for him and his family in this hard time.

(( Marine)) honestly I've never prayed a prayer that was not answered..with that being said ,. I will keep your friend and the other family members and you close in my prayers, I never understand why things like this happen, but I will pray for strength to get through this...my sincere condolenses...

Thanks to all who have sent prayers, they are truly needed and appreciated. Gabe's viewing is set for Monday, and his funeral is going to be Tuesday. I have volunteered to be part of the escort from the funeral home to the cemetery, because they are thinking that the procession will be huge, what with all the kids from the high school who will be getting the day off to attend.
He was the sweetest, best kid you could have known, and it's just so tragic of a loss.
