On the news this morning they are covering how our Prime Minister addressed US Congress.
From all accounts she has been warmly received in America and has been on regular tv shows including recently driving around with the President.
There was even one poll that gave her a score of 8 out of 10 from Americans polled.
Has anyone over there seen these interviews and publicity shows? What is your opinion of her based on the coverage? Can you understand a single thing she says? Are you aware that her accent is even considered an accent over here? Do you want to keep her? Please keep her!!!

Never heard of her. I don't watch much TV though, I get most of my news from the Internet news sites and they haven't mentioned her that I saw.

They just showed some her speech to Congress. She went on about how as a little girl in school she watched Man walk on the Moon. At that time she knew America could do anything, something she still believes in. Basically blah blah blah blow sunshine up your a$$ stuff.

She back-stabbed the last PM (Kevin Rudd) and took his job. Funny, John Howard was villified by the Opposition and the media for being a butt-kisser when he went to Washington.
