I just looked at my date that I first joined RP. EIGHT years ago. I'd say that is like 56 internet years ?

This place has seen a LOT of changes with a lot of people that have come and gone , IMHO the most notable was DC Law. Wish you were back Ross.

I was gone for quite a while and now am back. Lots of changes, lot of new people. I too miss DC Law - and a lot of others. Now I know what its like to get out of prison and your kids have a new mommy.

Dad got our pc & net back in 2000, it was the best you could buy...and us kids weren't allowed near it...
now it's just classed as a cumbersome old annoyance, but it still go's. I got sick of it and went an bought a laptop 2 years ago....wonder if it'll still work when it's 11years old

About 6.5 years for me.

I got my first computer and Internet connection in 1995. My first computer was a Packard Bell with a 40 meg hard drive and 8 meg of RAM. It came with Windows 3.1 and was about as reliable as my ex brother in law. I did learn a lot about computers with it though because I had to literally bring it back from the dead at least half a dozen times.

I was introduced to RP by none other than the infamous Bearcat. He brought me over from O.com when I got disgusted with that place. This is the only forum I frequent at all now.
