about Ten years ago i sustained a neck injury in a car wreck, well yesterday i worked outside all day planting flowers weeding flower beds and last night I carried a bathroom vanity from car to my bathroom this morning I woke up stretched and felt something literally crumble in my neck with excruciating pain so I went to the ER I can't turn my heade I can only look down at a angle :( and the ER dr referred me to a orthopediac surgeon... plus i have to wear the not so fashionable neck brace until I can get my MRI...you turn 30 and you fall apart!

I have been waiting for this to happen to me. One neck injury 13 years ago in high school, another in Jan 2008 in an on duty car crash. Third times the charm.

I've had a similar experience twice...my neck had to stay in a strange position, and if it moved in the slightest in any direction it was so painful I just instantly started crying. It was supposedly a pinched nerve causing it or something--and then my chiropractor called it "cervical torticollis." In any case, I've had a long history of back/neck problems so I can relate. I hope you feel better!

well what also scares me is my grandfather, my mom and my sister have all been diagnosed with degenerative bone diease plus spurs :( so i'm hoping it is not that, either way I'm so miserable I can't take anything for pain either b/c i have school or work ... it sucks!

well honestly that's what it feels like that I reinjured my ten year old injury, my neck has always bothered me since then... I hope it gets better soon I don't want to be stuck like this.... and sleeping tonight yeah right that is going to be a joke...
