After 35 years of watching stock car racing, I have watched my last race. I am currently watching the Daytona 500 and I am about to vomit.

I am not sure whether I am watching, ballet, synchronized swimming, or queer eye for the straight guy. What a disappointment.

I'm pretty sure I am watching a reality show, not racing.

They are driving in twos, YES IN TWOS, it is disgusting. They are all talking on the radio to each other. Here is one they just played: "Hey are you on?" "Yeah, I'm on." "Don't come up and push me, cause I got tape on my bumper and you might wreck." "Ok, I won't, I got to go help so and so, cause I promised." "Ok, see ya."

Freaking pisses me off to no end, as I said, NASCAR is done to me.

THey are freaking calling the racers "Dance Partners"

Yeah I watched some of it and the whole driving in twos thing just seemed really stupid to me, especially since the guy in the back couldn't see anything in front of him, and there were a record number of cautions. All the good drivers got wrecked, and it was like last man standing (i.e. the pansiest) wins. Stupid.

First year that track has allowed serious drafting. They just resurfaced it. And the only way to stay in the front pack is to draft. To draft you need two cars......no way around it. And even with teams having internal rivals, it will add drama later in the year.

I jumped out of my chair as did my son. That was the best part of the race.

I thought it was a decent race. I loved the outcome. The drivers adapted to what they had to do. I'm glad they are letting them run over 200 mph.

Nascar should ban teh 3 wide though unless you are passing. That BS jammed up the field preventing soem real racing and then took out half the field in the numerous accidents!

I enjoy watching most car races... but it does get a bit boring watching Circuit racing.
Funny that because i also enjoy watching the Drag Racing... cars going in a straight line that is, not guys running wearing dresses!!

If I watched Nascar i wouldn't be able to shower and I would have to pull out some of my own teeth. Doesn't sounds like too much fun to me :P
