My new schedule sucks.

I work 16:00 to 00:00. It takes me an hour to get home and I can't just go to bed, so it is around 02:00 when I lay down.

I'm back up at 05:30 to go back to the airport and unload my planes. I'm done with this around 09:30 or till my last plane comes in. Then it is another hour long drive home.

Ugh. The only good thing is I actually get to go to bed with my girlfriend every night.

SOOO TRUE! thanks for the reminder I was complaining about my schedule yesterday every Fri-Mon for the next 5 weeks..only required to work 3 12's but they are making me pick up the fourth. I feel your pain Norm.

How do they have you pulling two shifts that close together? I thought there were wage and hour laws that made that very expensive for the employer, no?

I hear ya, back when I was a newlywed, and had 2 little boys, I worked 4 -12 and my wife was going to college all day. Same thing get home around 0030 can't sleep, back up at 0600 to take care of the kids while wife was in school, two years of this.

One shift is an hourly position and my airportwork I do as a contract worker.
