unexpected company...

about an hour ago I was washing dishes and I hear my dogs barking in the kennel like crazy I look out the window and I can see that they see something and their hair is raised I was thinking it was my neighbor entering his pasture gate, it joins our property, so I look out the window and did'nt see anything so I go outside, I round the side of my house and standing face to face is 1200 lb black drooling bull....I just stood frozen not really sure what to do I did'nt want to run... so I just walked back- wards real slow... it scared me so bad I threw up... I called my neighbors and they opened the gate and he ran in, I hope he stays where he belongs!! or he might just end up being dinner

yes if I get really nervous it makes me physically sick.....i was not expecting a BULL to be staring me down...ugh.. hopefully he will stay put but i have a feeling he might get out again...

I have jumped out of perfectly good aircraft, been shot at, and have seen a morbidly obese girl nekkid, and I have never been so scared that I threw up.

Glad to hear the bull didn't hurt you. I heard a little rumour that they can get a bit angry and do you some damage if they want to.

I had a mate who had a bull and the guy from the water company came around to check the meter and didn't know. The bull hit him so hard from behind that he got launched out of the yard. Wasn't too badly hurt though.

Then there was another guy I knew who got cleaned up by his bull and got put in hospital with swelling on the brain.

Then there is the 6 months I spent in hospital with a smashed up leg after a bull jumped on me.

yeah he was not a happy camper the dogs barking had him aggitated.. Hence why I was so scared, I grew up around cows/ livestock so i know how dangerous they can be plus... when the only entrance to your house is about twenty feet away..... yeah that's scary...if i would have been walking any faster i would have ran into his nose....

When I was younger my brother and I use to tease our uncle's neighbors bull. We would cross the fence into the pasture and make it charge us and then see who would chicken out and jump back across the fence last. Now that I'm older, I'm glad that bull never decided just to run through the barbwire fence. But it was good times.

lol glad you got wiser with age :P......funny thing is I used to do the same thing except me and my sister would climb up on my dad's bales of hay..... we lived on 50 acres and had ALOT of animals....... cows, horses, pigs,peacocks, chickens...I am Terrified of chickens too...not really scared of cows but he just caught me off guard...

I've had that happen before living with my parents when I was younger. Heard something moving next to our mobile home outside my window. I lifted up the blinds and saw the neighbors cow standing there. I took it back home.
