Lone Nepali Gorkha who subdued 40 train robbers

I have to say after reading this, this guy is a real man...

POKHARA, Jan 13: Gorkha soldiers have long been known the world over for their valor and these khukuri-wielding warriors winning the British many a battle have become folklore.

A retired Indian Gorkha soldier recently revisited those glory days when he thwarted 40 robbers, killing three of them and injuring eight others, with his khukuri during a train journey. He is in line to receive three gallantry awards from the Indian government.

A cold one any time is in order...

I really like this statement from him...

The first time I ever went to Iraq, the Gorkhas had been hired to protect the US Embassy in the Green Zone. After the first year, they were replaced by several security companies that put in lower bids. Although I was happy with those security folks as well, there was nothing like having Gorkhas provide your security. Not only were they impressive as hell, they were also nice as hell too. They'd greet you with a warm "Namaste" every time

The gurkhas have fought for the british for nearly 200 years. Men of true honour.

Shameful thing is that up to May last year they didn't automatically have the right to live in the country they fought for.

Now if they complete or have completed 4 years Army service they get to stay here.

I've met a few 'professionally' while they were defending their honour agaist a bunch of low life scrotes. The scrotes lost, and when we came under attack from the friends of the now arrested scrotes the Gurkhas jumped in and helped out.

They don't mess about, even today a lazy copper who doesn't arrest anyone is known as a Gurkha.

"He's a Gurkha". " whadya mean"? " He takes no prisoners".
    Hand in Hand!

What about those that have to do both?

I was on exercise years ago with the army and some Gurkha soldiers were there too... we watched as one of them leopard crawled up behind one of the instructors, undid his shoe laces and then tied them together and slithered away. Unknowing Sgt has then gone to step away and fallen over.
God we got in trouble for laughing, but worth it!!!
    Full respect for those guys!!!
