A few weeks ago I was taking down my Christmas tree and I thought of some vintage looking christmas ornaments my grandmother had given me as a gift many years ago, I think I was 16 years old. when she gave them to me she told me that she wanted to give me something to put on my tree to make me think of her, Christmas was always our favorite holiday we would make fruit baskets for the needy sing christmas carols etc.... so it made sense to me why she would give me these ornaments, I moved out when I was sixteen and the ornaments became lost.
yesterday when I went to see her ( my granny) she did'nt know who I was at first so I had to explain to her who I was, then she started talking about Christmas and how she had not been shopping yet... I stayed for about two hours... then I went to my moms to get her to help me sew a few nursing valentine tops ( I bought some fabric and wanted to make my own tops)..
my mom sent me to the closet for something and would'nt you know at the bottom of the closet were the ornaments that I thought I had lost 14 years ago......how odd is that but yet so appropriate......:D

......that is a good idea... however I don't think the roommate would appreciate all the christmas trees in july but I do like the presents idea b/c I could always use christmas wrapping paper and it could be something simple as a pair of socks and maybe a fruit basket too :D it was really sad this last visit :( when I hugged her and told her i loved her she started crying...................WHY I NEVER WANT TO GET OLD......it's too depressing
