Go to sleep!!!

it is 1am here and my three year old nephew ( first time he has ever stayed the night) REFUSES to go to sleep! I have been up since 530am and worked 13 hours today, but I can't go to sleep while he is still up.... also how is it the hubby volunteered to baby sit but he is snoring away.... IMAGINE THAT!!!!!!

AND..... I have to study tomorrow..... I will be a zombie for sure probabley falling asleep at the library...

I have never heard so much whinging since my wife left for work this afternoon!!!
Put the electronic babysitter on (TV) and you go to sleep on the couch... Problem solved!!!

ummm you can't do that.....that's like leaving them home alone.... he has a BAD habit of getting into stuff while adults are awake much less when noone is watching him! plus that's illegal... I just asked him " are you sleepy" ..... his response " I wanna play army men! "......NOWONDER HE SLEEPS TIL NOON! saving my whining for the am.... someone is going to have a RUDE awakening........b/c I'm going to be VERY gROUCHY

Yesterday while I wasn't feeling well my wife stuck me with baby duty while she was cleaning up and the baby had just fallen asleep and I was dead tired. As I was on my way back from the kitchen with a fresh cup of water headed to the man room (where I planned on taking a nap in my recliner) and I walk past the master bedroom and my wife calls out to me. I zombie walk back to the bedroom to see what she needs. My wife is 5'2", piled on the bed was a mountain of clean clothes needing to be folded and put away, the mountain was literally over my wife's head. She asked "will you help me put the clothes away."

"No" *walks into man room and falls fast asleep*

Moral, while asking doesn't always work you can't be mad unless you took the effort to ask.

no I did'nt ask but I made the comment " it's going to be a long night for you"..... meaning you get to stay up.... I was doing my homework and next thing I know I hear snoring he snuck off to bed lol..... I was'nt really mad but more annoyed if YOU volunteer to babysit YOU should do it don't dump it on someone else.... ESP when that person just worked 13 hours and has an exam on two chapters in two days.... JMO

I HIGHLY doubt he thought the kid would stay up until 2am....

there is a HUGE HUGE difference between " Not getting it" verses being selfish or just not caring. I do like the brick idea though....even if it does'nt work lol.
