lol , although I am REALLY writing a book about vampires in my spare time I was being facetious when I posted this ;)

I have a difficult time as well.
But this is what I try to do with any type of writing.

Write down the basics first. Get the characters down with a short bio on each one.
On the character that's a vampire... what is his/her strengths? Weaknesses?
Mix it up a bit... cause you don't have to use old school style on your vamps.
Maybe they can only be killed if they're decapitated. Or maybe only fire.
I've even read- can't recall where tho- that Vampires can't cross over rose pedals. Go figure that one out LOL

With the flood of vampire books and movies, it's getting difficult to be original.

Of course, sometimes that's easier said than done.

um yeah I think I might have i will recheck my email though , I was up to Matt in the tent that's the last part that I read on the orginal. my inbox gets flooded by facebook notifications and junk mail , I should create a whole new account

Whatever you do, make sure your vampire(s) doesn't sparkle in the sunlight or otherwise emasculate them as Stephenie Meyer so successfully did.

on a serious note I think I am the "ONLY" girl on the planet that has only read one book and has not seen any of the movies........

ok i just went through my email and you had sent me parts 1 & 2 and yes I read it my schedule at work is about to change on Feb 6th I'm going to be a super busy girl..... working every Friday-Mon ( 12 hr shifts) school Tues and Thurs mornings! not very excite about the scheduled glitch but what can I do :(

You're not alone. Though personally, I've neither read the books nor watched the movies...and refuse to ever do so. However, I think it was that a friend of mine had to read the books for a creative writing class, so I witnessed endless quotes from Ms. Meyer's "masterpiece(s)."

Thank you! the vampire book actually started out as a joke between me and a friend of mine that is a published author he has two books published but he can write the most AMAZING poetry, yes I am addicted to ADEN FISHER... so it was a joke between us he made the comment he wanted to write a vampire series I told him that I wanted to also that he could write all the poetry in my book for me....well after I started writing it and shared it with a few people they told me to keep going....

I have also started writing a book about my son being born premature his struggle through the last few years.... this was inspired by Jodi picoults book " HANDLE WITH CARE" ---- that is a * MUST READ*.... I have felt every emotion that mother in that book has felt....

I've always wanted to write a book, the vampire book I highly doubt I will ever finish the book about my kid I am determined to finish
