I applied for a lot of positions with the state government and today I got a pre-interview call to see if I was still interested and if I was willing to re-locate to the U.P. of Michigan. The job is a 9-5, weekends off and all the major benefits of working for the government!
I really hope I get this because that pay is over double what I make now! Also, it's a great foot in the door job too.

Back in the day, when I was applying for MSP, I was wanting to go to the UP. That place is beautiful. I've been working on the wife to buy a chunk of land for retirement up there. She's not to thrilled about the idea. That new Kid Rock video gets me home sick every time I see it.
