I have a hard time believing that only because my uncle worked on those for a living (until one took his life :( ) Ive been out in the boat riding behind those things and they arent that versitale. Its big and slow for them things for them to turn. They dont even move that fast. Their wake is way larger than what was depicted in the picture. I dont know if anyone remembers this but in mobile,al (where i live) the tug hit the train tracks, damaged the bridge, and caused the amtrak accident. Those tracks sit high enough for a barge to get under it no problem. We dont even have to idle when we pass under it in the boat. If tugs were actually capable of that it would be a frequent occurrence. BTW, in demopolis the have a large bridge with an arch on it so it dosent have to turn.
IG - I'm sorry I didn't hear what you said. LMAO
Ha Ha, yeah that has been around for a while.
