My grandparents were married for 68 years when my grandmother died. I just saw my grandfather (Nonno-he's 91) yesterday, and he said "You know, there were women here (in the nursing home) that are 20-30 years younger than your grandmother, but she would still win any beauty contest." I thought that was the sweetest thing I have ever heard. Is it any wonder why I love my Nonno so much???
When I say those two words, I plan on being in it for the long haul. My parents are at 36 and counting.
