Going to NC for Thanksgiving. I swear it seem's like everytime I make a trip down south I bring Michigan weather with me. I hope for once that will change. I hate driving through the mountains when it's dark and rainy. Anyone familiar with the tennesee mountains...Yikes! I could literally drive right off the side. Well if you don't hear back from me chances are.........................

It is getting cold 'round here this weekend, but will be really nice Thanksgiving. Some weather pushing through today, (I'm in the middle of the State). Still, it looks like at the worst it will be 50's for day and low 30's at night. I think you will break your weather streak this year. Safe travels!

I went 77 down, I figured 75 would take me out of the way. I'm in Sanford NC I love it down here. I'm in a gated community/army base NO ONE gets in not even school buses lmao that's crazy!

I finally made it home Sunday. Once again the few days I was down there it was cloudy and rainy. The day I left it was sunny and a high of 65. I was so mad! lol I couldn't believe how many people were stranded on the side of 77 both ways. In indiANA I

I finally made it back Sunday. Once again it rained and was chilly. Of course the day I left it was sunny and around 65, I was so mad! There was so many people broke down on 77 both ways it was crazy. Yesterday on the way home in Indiana I saw a Officer putting out a fire from someone's suitcase. I thought to myself WTF could've been on fire? Anyways I had a great time it was beautiful, I have to say West Virgina was the prettiest. I also stopped at fancy gap to eat in the mountains it was yummy. Never had mountaineer food. I would have to day the best view is Pilot Mountain now THAT is something everyone should check out.

Luckily it wasn't foggy this weekend on Fancy Gap. They had a 70+ car pileup there about two weeks ago. Did you happen to eat at Fancy Gap Deli or Lakeview? If not, I highly recommend the Deli next time you pass through the area. Originally Posted by Pookie44
