    Left Behind

I am currently reading the book "Left Behind" which is the first in a series of books (I believe 12) about the end of the world. Very much based on a Christian viewpoint and, obviously, fiction however it does take its points from the bible and the book of Revelations.

Curious if anyone is reading or have read the series and your thoughts. It is an interesting read, religious or not. I highly recommend it if you think it might interest you.

I've read the entire series...really enjoyed the first few. I thought the writing wasn't as good in the later books.

i agree with Toeknee i kept reading the books because my mother had them and i eventually stopped because they just started to get repetitive. Same stuff over and over again but in a different book. I think Left Behind was the best in the series, at least from those that i read.

I too have read the entire series and thoroughly enjoyed them. The whole thread is based upon the end times as found in the bible. A good read. Very suspenseful. Would recommend the series to anyone.

It makes you think of religion in a different light. I have always been intrigued by the book of Revelations and the end of the world. This series seems to just put the book into future/present sense.

I read the first two books. Stopped reading the series... It just became too predictable due to the authors(theres two, correct?) being super christians. Well, not just for being super christians, it just became predictable.

I think i would of enjoyed the story so much more if they hadn't such a christian influence. Also, the writing style(not the christian thing) didn't appeal to me much.

    Just my take on it
