    Addicted to Internet

    I'm addicted to internet.
    On thursday I come home from a restaurant open RP website and a bunch of others and intrnet connection dissappears. So I'm thinking in a few minutes it will be back up. So I moved the cable modem for a while and didn't get any connection.
    So my Dad went to Comcast and got new modem, since our sucked and we had to adjust it all the time. (hey it's free anyways). So he installed new modem instead of the old one. Still no connection. He called Comcast and they send us a guy on Sat. The guy couldn't fix it and said it is one of the power lines that needs to be fixed.
    The guy finally fixed it on Monday and when I got home from School I was able to sit in the internet again. But boy, it was boring the whole weekends without internet.

    Did I miss anything while I was out?

    You are not alone - millions are addicted to the 'net - and I know many that are addicted to xbox/ps2 as well. i guess it could prove to be bad down the road but like ca fuzz said....

    at least you can't snort stuff online lol. What gets me when I go home, is the fact that the comcast connection is running, comcast says I have service, the modem says I have service, but it still take me like 20 minutes to get it working. The thing has to all sorts of stuff, most of it is 'recoding' it though to accept my system again.

    Isn't any addiction only a problem when it causes some sort of dysfunction? I thought I read something about this somewhere.

    Im a computer ho. This is where you will find me 98% of the time. BTW, I have comcast & never had any problems with my service.
