Finally starting to settle in a little bit in the (finally completed) office, I also found a nice place to put something else on the wall:

Poor fish, no green in the bowl. And no sparkling water-air mix. I'm serious with that, it is cruelty to put a fish into the glass skull.

We just had a Beta fish die that my daughter had for 2.5 years. They don't need much room to swim in.

Well, my son has a aquarium with all needed interior for his animals. I remember long years ago when a relative kid got some fishes at his birthday in a glass bowl. They don't survived to afternoon.

Betta's don't require all that. They actually breathe atmostpheric air which is why they're constantly swimming to the top of the water. They also need still water (as it's their natural habitat) and the powerheads or bubble aerators cause too much turbulence in the water. Originally Posted by patchcop
