Oh, the weather is not good-it's raining hard.
While at the inner change of 605 fwy & 60 fwy I lost control of my vehicle and almost hit the freeway railing, I'm sure it was an oil slick or something.
Since I had both hands on the wheel and was driving slowly while
making the turn-I regained control of my vehicle-I didn't crash. Thank God.
To you all, becareful driving while on duty and off duty, alright.

It is short before ten in the morning here, around 6 degrees Celsius out there, cloudy with a few blue pieces seen on the sky.
The weather frogs on TV said, that we'll become snow in the next three days and it will fall down below 0 degrees Celsius. But I live down in the country, near the big city with the smog-glock and the CGN airport isn't too far away. So I think that I don't will have white christmas here. Last night, we had freezing rain...the trees look like they have been frosted, my sidewalk and driveway are a skating rink. And now, it's balmy 31 and foggy with a minor heatwave today of 34.

34 this morning, nice break. We were supposed to get freezing rain, but we dodged the bullet on that. The rain came, but it had warmed up to just above freezing when it it. Now that the rain has come, it will gradually warm up to the usual upper 30's to upper 40's, our normal weather.
I'm sure glad that cold has gone. It was in single digits here for several nights. I don't need that at all.Democracy is a device that ensures we shall be governed no better than we deserve.

Currently 44 & fog really sucks but I know it could be a lot worse. How any one could live any farther North is beyond me.

It was in the 40's today but this morning was terrible. Frigid temps the passed few days had frozen the ground and this morning it rained, causing the rain to instantly freeze on the roadway, essentially making the roadways ice. I handled 4 accidents (3 reportable) in the span of about two hours.
One of the calls I received by phone while in the station and the caller told me she couldn't get through to county 911 (all the accidents tied up the phones). Talk about a mess."Knowing what you stand for limits what you fall for"
