Produce mostly, but I've seen a couple with cotton (balls...cotton balls, get it?? *chirp....chirp*) We have a huge canal system in the Metro area that feed them all. Just like the Imperial Valley in SoCal. Same concept is that we have weather for growing crops and they pull the water from the Colorado River and anything surrounding it.
There are a few cattle farms in the area, too. Have our own dairy company in Phoenix, Shamrock Farms. Good stuff.
Of every one hundred men, ten should not even be here. Eighty are nothing but targets. Nine are real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the One... One of them is a Warrior... He will bring the others back.

I think the winter is over now. Today we had 15 degrees Celsius in the noon sun. And no snow since 8 days now.

Also looking for Massachusetts Police and US Capitol City PD patches now!
Mid 60's in Florida today, very nice. Not looking forward to the 110+ heat index's of summertime soon. I hate working patrol in the daytime during summer. Dark Green Polyester, Body armor, etc. I am miserable then.

They've got us surrounded? Good. Now we can fire in any direction, those bastards wont get away this time
An amateur will train until they get it right. A professional will train until they can't get it wrong.
Was beautiful (55 and sunny), but now it's around 35 and cloudy. But I guess that's Minnesota for you.
Mid 70's today.
Hauled in 10 bags of potting and topsoil for the gardens, got the strawberries in the ground. Lettuce, cabbage and onions have been planted for about a month. Going to plant the radishes, carrots, cukes and peas tomorrow, then get the weedstop on. Going to grow some beefstake tomatoes from seed this year, so they will come later.
I also have to get some netting to go over my Strawberries before I get any fruit out there. I'll be danged if I'm giving any of those up to squirrels or crows if I can help it.
Also have to splice my soaker hose in a few places, since I am running one hose through 3 beds, rather than a manifold splitter.
I suspect I may have to replace my digital timer again, but I'll have to get it apart to know for certain.
I've never grown radishes, carrots or peas before... cabbage or onions, either for that matter... so we'll see what happens.
Then I have orders to clean up the yard. My wife thinks Fred Sanford has moved in, with all of the empty planters and tomato cages I have surplus this year.

I've always wondered how that can be comfortable in the summer...the humidity's killer. Last year in May, the humidity in Orlando was terrible...but about 2 hours away in Tampa, it wasn't as bad. Regardless, I could hardly stand wearing clingy shirts let alone all of that. I don't envy Florida LE when its summer...
And speaking of the weather, it's 63 outside here but very overcast. It would be a lot more enjoyable if it was sunny outside!
It's not. I'm closer to Orlando than to Tampa (unless I'm on the west side of my county), and the heat and humidity is unbearable. When I walk out of my door in the summer at 5:15am to go to briefing, I am sweating by the time I get into my patrol car.
During the day it gets so hot under that crap that I usually end up in the Doctor's office at one point in the summer because the heat and sweat causes extremely painful boils to develop on my inner thighs. And I'm not over weight.
The heat here SUCKS.

Sunny, clear. High of around 84ish today. I cut the grass, cleaned out the garage, weeded the flower bed and done pruning from the winter damage. Also cleaned the master bathroom today. Good day to get some stuff done.
