Basically the President and AG Holder are endangering
the whole poplulation of NYC.

The other, less in the public is how can they get a fair trial in NYC? If I were a defense lawyer, that would be my first line of appeal. Finding jurors who weren't directly affected by 9-11 in NYC is going to be impossible.

Yep, and an excellent avenue for them to again preach about how evil the Bush administration was by using rendition and enhanced interrogation. I have a feeling that Bush, Cheney, the CIA and the US military will feel like they're the ones being tried vs the real terrorists by the time this is done.

To get back to the original question, I hope I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that there will be some fairly serious action taking place in New York during this whole thing. I'm no terrorist expert by any means but when I see dark clouds I assume a storm is brewing.

Furthermore, considering how decisive and bold our current president is, it's not like our enemies will be afraid to strike again anyway.

How are they going to get a fair trial anywhere? They should have just allowed a military tribunal. And thanks Obama for already biasing jurors with his statements in a recent interview where he stated: I don't think it will be offensive at all when he's convicted and when the death penalty is applied to him."

Thanks Mr. President, any defense attorney would use this for an acquittal.

This scumbag was never given Miranda and was treated as an enemy combatant and questioned as such. He made incriminating statements. Here is how I see it:
Defense: Was my client free to leave?
Gov Witness: No
Defense: Why were you questioning my client?
Gov Witness: He was a suspected terrorist?
Defense: Do terrorists typically commit crime?
Gov Witness: Yes
Defense: Did you ask him about terroristic activities?
Gov Witness: Yes
Defense: Did he admit to any?
Gov Witness: Yes, he said he had a major role in 9/11
Defense: What else?

Defense: Motion for dismissal your honor. The Gov admitted knew he was in their care, control and custody of them and not free to leave, suspected he was a terrorist and criminal and then questioned him about specific criminal activity in which he was a suspect. His statements are fruits of the poisonous tree and should be excluded.
