Have you done something good lately for your neighbor, friend, relative or a stranger? Mowed your neighbor's yard, loaned someone your car, carried a can of gas to someone stranded on the highway or gone out of your way to do someone a favor?

Honestly I do this stuff automatically no matter what. If someone needs help doing whatever usually I just do it without thinking twice such as helping them load up their car. Just the other day I pumped gas for a elderly lady because she was having problems getting out of her car. She tried to give me a little cash but I denied it. It's not like it hurt me any to do it I was gasing up my car anyways.
This isn't the first person a old person asked me to pump their gas lol

You're a good Samaratan FS...There aren't many like that, as most folks are living in their own little worlds today and are too preoccupied with themselves and other things to notice when someone needs help.
I made up a study sheet for our Phase 1 test the other day and ran copies off for everyone in my FTO class. One person actually turned it down, but no sweat off my nose, most seemed thankful for the effort.
One of the instructors did mention that he knew of ONE of us that helped the others out, and that that person was a "team player". :D

Lessee. I got to work early and left late today. I didn't badge my way to the front of any lines. I didn't take any bribes. I brought two people to jail inbetween chasing a boatload of calls for service. I didn't stalk Suzanne.
I didn't make fun of Greg or Chevy. I let about 100 marijuana users/possessors off the hook. I only wrote one "driving like a race car driver" ticket. I ate some vegetables with my dinner and flossed afterwards. I helped a little old lady across the street (she didn't want to go but it's the thought that counts). Today was a pretty good day - I didn't even have to use my AK...
IMO - I make an attempt to assist a person every day and believe that if everyone did, the world would be better. As LEO's I understand that the vast majority of your professional and private lives are doing just this. It sounds corny but those of LE are selfless and if more understood this you would receive the proper respect of the position. And for those that do not understand this - beat them into submission.
Cheers

Towed in a boatload of hot wimmens plus one really stupid guy yesterday.
He ran over their ski rope and buggered the propellor. Saved them a $400 tow bill and the fish weren't biting anyway.
I did get a hug from his very well-endowed friend. :D
Don't try and outweird me, I find weirder things than you in my breakfast burrito.

As lame as it sounds, I shoot for at least one random act of kindness each day.
