My favorite is a home made apple pie made with Grannie Smith apples. For a good apple pie or turnover you need a tart green apple and not a sweet or semi sweet one.
Some like to add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to top it off, but I'd rather have a slice of sharp or extra sharp cheddar cheese.
Since I've taken over the cooking it's become a hobby and nothing is more fun and relaxing to me than getting in the kitchen and baking a cake, pie, batch of cookies, brownies (always with walnuts or pecans) or a few muffins. I usually make my desserts from scratch as it's more of a challenge but have used the store bought cake mixes, Betty Crocker being my favorite.

Best dessert is a mixed cheese plate, that closes the stomach;)
On sweets, a mixed fruit salat, Creme Brullee, Creme Cataluna, the turkish sutlac (milkrice, sweet jogurt, sugar baked in the oven, sounds like horror but is one of the best desserts), ginger icecreme (only got it while in Massachusetts a few years ago but it was fantastic - and one time handmade on the 50th birthday of a friend who ordered a scotish cook to make it)
and, off course
a big German BEEEEEEEER:DEvenhand (Cop Movie): You can't be everybody's friend
There are two things I'm good in, the second is arresting people
I'm looking for Drug/Narcotic Unit patches together with DUI/DWI unit patches for a frame in our Anti-Drug-Team bureau
Also looking for Massachusetts Police and US Capitol City PD patches now!

I am fond of the apple and cherry pie things also.
More so of warm brownies (not just chocolate) and ice cream.
