I admit it. I love a good hotdog, but with the exception of The Varsity in Atlanta, and Nu-Way down in Macon, there is nowhere to get a good dog here. Well I'm happy to report that we now have a new hotdog joint in little old McDonough Ga! It's called CJ's, and the owner is a Jersey transplant, who missed being able to buy a good hotdog so he opened his own place in his own New Jersey image.
Samantha and I went to lunch there yesterday and I had the (I KID YOU NOT!) the 1lb, foot long, all Angus Beef hotdog with chili and onions. They call it the Texas Special. This is a damn fine dog!!!
The fact that the owner came to the table to introduce himself and to check and see if we were enjoying our meal impressed me too.
I will be back! Next time I'm going to try the Chicago Dog, or the NYC Special, or the Polish.........

I went to the Huntington location a few years ago. It's the only place I've ever eaten where I'm okay with the old toilet sitting in front of the front door. It's good food there. Right down the road from Marshall University. Originally Posted by pafindr
