BTW, the hubbie says that the '98 is "one of the good years, pre-fuel injection". He used to turn wrenches at a Honda bike shop for a bit.
As for the achy-achy, take some Ibuprofen before the ride. It helps me for those too infrequent long rides...
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile-driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack!
