I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up. I have just enough time to finish my masters before I retire. Its finding a job where I can either be alone or be able to tell anyone to f-off without getting fired thats hard.

I figured I'd give it a shot since so many people are taking classes that way. I just can't do it. I already started these, though. I'll just have to tough it out and then NEVER do that again.

I had a 4.0 until I took and online course got a friggin B and torched a perfect record. Never did another one.

Man, if you can retire and not work another day in your life just chill...If anything you can be a park ranger, maybe work w/ animals...You'll be in the wild and not to interact w/ to many people, besides the animals in the wild are more civilized then most criminals you come across everyday...:eek::D

Actually thinking about a masters in Ecology and going to work for NPS, DOW or NFS. There is alot of competition though. Last time I was in Alaska my tour guide had a masters in Ecology. He lives about 3 miles from me and is trying to break into the business.

Yeah, the science field can be tough...I gave some thought to marine biology (I love the ocean) but jobs are few and far in between...I'm trying to get my life started, get my own place and do my thing, can't be chasing a job forever...

If I ever become a LEO and retire after my time I don't ever want to work in the LE (or security field or anything like that), I'd just ride a cubical or something easy/fun...

It must be great to dive in the ocean and get paid for it...
