Add to that the fact that I only get on about once a week, so I usually miss all the craziness and mayhem that goes on - its deleted by the time i come on, and i hear only veiled statements about the lunacy. Rarely do I catch a glimpse myself, so maybe it doesn't bother me as much as some of the others.
That being said, I would miss seeing so many of the regulars if they all left that other place... so here I am!

Although I just started coming back around, I never left. I just spent more time elsewhere and blogging - on my blog and reading LOTS of political blogs. Good stuff!
The "other" site I used to be a member of was one that very local to me and recently made national news. It has been shut down and not sure if it will ever be up and running again. Freedom of speech has gone to the wayside.
FWIW, nobody who was a member there wanted to see it close, but I'm sure it was one of those necessary evils, as this will now be headed to court.
A lot of people feel lost, so I have given referrals for people to come here, if that helps, but they're all great people, the majority P/O's, FF's, EMS and only then only the awesome civilians, like me! :p"Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent."

Rain is this stuff that we have had more of in the past 2 months than any other time in the past 10 or 15 years. Its kind of nice. Except my neighbors basement has been flooding for 2 months straight.
