Anyone here remember that scene in Wambaugh's "The Choirboys" where the coppers go to the call with the girl threatening suicide out the window? Holy smack is that funny. That's a good book.

There's a reason beanbag projectiles are called, "less lethal" - not, "less than lethal." The chance of bodily injury or death still exists with those items. Pepperball, fin-stabilized, beanbags, tridents, etc. can all be pretty damaging in the right circumstances.
