Obviously it runs in the family .... my maternal grandmother and all 8 of her siblings died of cancer. Both my grandfathers died of cancer and everyone of their 18 siblings also died of cancer.

My mother had ovarian cancer back in 99 and had to have a hysterectomy. Annndd she does not go get her yearly check ups no matter how much I yell at her. :mad: She doesn't believe in modern medicine and is into homeopathic remedies, which is fine but there comes a time when you don't take any chances.

I had a benign spot on my ovaries when I was a senior in high school. I had the cryosurgery done. As a matter of fact they said I'd probably never have any children. So my son is definitely a gift from God! I've had my early checkups religiously. This year is the first time there has been a question of my results.

Everyone in my family who hasn't died of cancer either died of a car accident and a few have died from being murdered. I honestly cannot think of one person in my family that has not died of cancer.

Although I do not know all the exact details of my sisters prognosis, I will find everything out tonight. Right now all I know is she had a mole on her back that had turned reddish in color.

She had it removed. and when the surgeons went in to remove it they found more than they were expecting and had to extract quite a bit more than they were planning on.

It's very scary hearing news like this about your little sister. So thanks for all the kind words and the prayers! They really do help

My sister is a beautiful person inside and out and very fun loving and caring. This world would truly lose an angel, God forbid anything happen to her.

We don't really know what God will do but I agree in prayer with you for the restoration of your sister's health and to recover from cancer as soon as possible.

I have seen people recover from cancer, lost their hair, went to kymo forever, all kinds of side effects and all out of the blue they recovered, so don't let circumstances bring you down, it could be a test of faith, so enjoy the journey and let God fight the battle : )

This is a very unimaginable stress for most, and I wish and pray for the best for your sister. My cousin had mouth/tongue cancer without even having smoked or used chew, and endured unimaginable pain through treatment, but survived without any cancerous regrowth so far. Prayers sent for yourself and the rest of your family as well.
