Zendik You have my utmost respect. You came to this forum with a pretty negative opinion about cops, but after talking to GDow (another reason I love you G!), you were able to admit you changed your feelings. It takes a lot for people to admit that they aren't as informed as they think they are, and you did it with grace and dignity. I still get a warm fuzzy when I think about it!

sgtbear you are da bomb!! You have helped me out more than a few times. You have a lot of brains in that cute noggin of yours.

Bbuie An inspiration to me and I bet quite a few others. You opened up your life to us all and took us with you through your journey these past few years. You always met your challenges with optimism and wonderful attitude. I know it has been a rough rode, but you never forgot what matters most - God and family. As Tim Allen says in Galaxy Quest --- "Never give up --- never surrender!!!!" I love you, babe.

Mac Not many will remember him, but he changed his entire career, and the course of his life. He has always been knowledgeable and fun to talk to. He regails me with stories of the open sea (he's merchant marine now), and I always know he would be there for me.

EricDaBald I wish I had the guts to stand up for myself like you do. You are obviously intelligent, and speak your mind, regardless of the popularity of the opinion. I know I could learn some stuff from you. (plus, I love looking at Dennis!!)

Dan You have your stuff together, little bro. I am so proud of you. You make me feel a little better about the next generation. Next time you visit sis at college, let me know. We should do lunch.

sw2copgirlAnother inspiration. She doesn't post much anymore, but she started academy at a "mature" age and got through it with flying colors. Now she is a cop and has the respect of all the guys she works with.

scan I am proud of you. You admitted you were headed down the wrong path, and you are trying to right that so you end up a productive member of society. Keep asking those questions and never stop learning. I am very proud of you for going back to school and quitting the weed.

OK from my heart... Seriously guys i am honored you let me join you on July 19th, 2001 i have enjoyed the debate and discussion, despite religious, moral, and political differences. I think of you as my brothers and sisters like i do other firefighters through out the country. Keep the faith to protect and serve and i and others like me will be there to back you up.
