Believe it not, cops DO ask cops questions, do relate things that happen to them on duty etc. We don't know all of the answers either.

I am certified in Motor Carrier Inspections ( DOT) , Advanced Accident Investigation, Field Training Officer, SWAT, Speed timing devices, 4 yrs in the military police and almost 18 yrs civilian police.

Some of our DOJ guys here may not have a clue about the coefficient of friction on a certain type of highway. ( this has to do with speed calculations from a crash) I , on the otherhand do not know much about their job. Sharing info is GOOD between us. Some stuff can be public, others cannot.

not that I believe everything revolves around me, but if you reply had anything to do with my statement "Cops asking Cops would be silly." I should have been more clear...

I meant Cops asking Cops would be silly as a direct replacement for the Ask a Cop thread, assuming all of the questions were of the same caliber... that I was definatly not clear on...

Of corse cops ask cops questions, it would be silly to assume anything else. Believe me I know cops don't know all the answers... im married to one hahahaha...

just my 2 cents, but i think that a leo only board wouldnt be that bad of an idea. the last time it was up, as stated before, it wasnt used very often. either way it really doesnt matter to me. i will however hunt and find norm, and haul him screaming to the pokey!! lol
