I got this email about a site that you can click on and every so many visits, sponsors contribute money for mammograms for women who can't afford them.
Here it is:

The Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to
click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one
free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman. It takes less
than a minute to go to their site and click on 'donating a mammogram'
for free (pink window in the middle).

This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors /advertisers
use the number of daily visits to donate a mammogram in exchange
for advertising.

I looked a little further into it, and apparently they are a part of CharityUSA.com.
Looking further into CharityUSA.com I found they do the same thing for: World hunger, child health, literacy, animal rescue, and the rainforest.

Looks like I've got several clicks a day to add to my browsing... taking all of 30 seconds total and doing more good than all the rest of my internet activity put together.

Thanks for sharing that rds. My mom and my future MIL are both breast cancer survivors. Another survivor, and wife of one of our reserve officers, just found out her cancer is back and terminal. I'll be passing that on and clicking daily.

This is a very worth cause, and one that is the second charity priority, behind fallen officers, of the LE motorcycle club I ride with. We have lost more officer's wives to this tragedy than officers killed in the line of duty.

Appreciate all the support you guys are giving it. Ya know, men can get it too. My ex partner, a 6-3, 230 lb former Marine had to have a double mastectomy. Yeah, it sounded funny to me too, but he wasn't somebody you laughed at.
