Nope, not going back to school. The Univ that I used to work for
about 9 years ago, made me a offer and I will be a Univ Police
Officer once again approx Nov 1st. (assuming I can pass the
psych eval:rolleyes
No locked and cocked 1911s. They carry glock 9mm:mad::p:rolleyes:
No more 4x4 pickups. I might even get to drive a Charger
No more cowboy hats.
And last but not least, no more on call time HELL YEAH

Talking to my folks, new housing construction in that whole area is at a low, as there are way to many empty new houses that were built in anticipation of the BRO coming home. Sounds like you are heading to the Little Apple...sorry to hear that.;) Actually, that town is a tad better than where I went. Being a Husker fan, I couldn't bring myself to stay home and go to KSU. My older bro went there and I think he is still trying to catch up after the second rate education he got there.:D
If you don't mind me asking, what position are you leaving? I interned with the KDWP Region 1 LE office in Hays about 10 yrs ago. The cowboy hat and on call made me think of some good times. I still keep in touch with the chief out there every now and then.
