A while back, Hockey asked my to do a thread on how to eat well for little money. Since I am lazy I put it off for a while. :D Well today, when I was shopping for tonights dinner, I decided to help him out.
The following is enough for three meals for a single guy.
Tonight I am having a bottom round roast cooked like a really thick ribeye.
Cost: $8.72
First, get a skillet hot and sear the roast off for color and flavor.
After you sear it off, toss it pan and all into a 350 degree oven till you get an internal temp off 135/140 degrees.
Here the beastie is halfway done.

All done. Sliced thin and served with a bagged salad and homemade garlic bread. Total cost for this meal, about $15.00. Like I said, this will make three meals for a single guy.

I got one for ya...my "typical" meal on this self imposed bodybuilding diet. I'll add some pix later.
All you need is 2 cans of tuna (what portion/type of the fish is your preference, I prefer Solid White Albacore), a 1/3 - 1/2 box of choice pasta (I typically use whole wheat rotini), a bit of olive oil, garlic (either powder or chop up a nice fresh clove if ya got), onion powder (or for those of you without a texture problem like me, chop a friggin onion if ya got), add some basil, oregano, salt, peppercorn to your taste...add a few squirts of olve oil (I prefer extra virgin...hell its the only virgin around nowadays anymore LoL) and TADAAAA
Total cost: $4.50 if you already have the spices & olive oil available, and if you wanna spend another $1.50 for another tuna can, make the whole box of pasta and you have from 4-6 meals depending on how you portion things.
For a little variety, spend $0.50 more and add a can of peas to it for that vegetably goodness
