Hookers (but no blow)

So at 2:00 this morning, I get called to do a blood run from the Red Cross to the VA Hospital. The Red Cross blood bank is located off of Fulton Industrial Blvd. Not the very best part of town.

So I make my pick up and have to stop on Fulton Ind to get some fuel. (The chevron at FIB and I 20 for all you ATL peeps.) I go in and pre pay and come back out and start pumping my gas and all of a sudden it looks like a hooker convention around my car! Big ones, little ones, hookers of every color shape and size all trying to sell there, ummm wares.

The economy must really be tough if the hookers are begging for business!

Yeah, they start gettin' desparate about that time of the morning (or maybe Norm's just a hunk!).


One night after I finished up a drug lab about 4 in the morning, I was driving down the "stroll" here. The hookers were like barnacles attaching themselves to my car. I was so tired I just held my badge up as I drove along. They'd try to get in the car until they saw it. Some were so whacked out I had to tell them who I was.....

I don't have much experience with vice but most of the street walkers I've seen are seriously fugly.

I've seen a few who started out pretty, but that lasted for less than a month. They aged about 15 years in that 30 days. Rough life, especially when the money is going to some pimp.
