Todays class is about driving in the country

So, if you dont know about driving on DIRT roads this class is for you.

When "we" (meaning YOU) come to visit, "we" dont take short cuts down
dirt roads when "WE" dont know where "WE" are going.

Because there is a reason all those farmers, ranchers and at least four
members of the Sheriff's Office drive FOUR WHEEL DRIVE PICKUPS.

Should it rain after you get here, the dirt (now MUDDY) road is definately off limits.

While I am really a nice guy and I dont mind driving six miles locked down in 4x4 just to pull you out. It really pisses me off when I get my Tony Llama Cowboy Boots DIRTY. Son of a (edited for content):D

    Friggin tourists LOL

On a clear night, I can see the other deputies emergency lights at least 10 miles away.
But it isnt flat here LOL

Nope the father in law would be the guy to call if you got stuck.
He was an oil field driller and knew every back road in this part of the country.

This was some tourist up here from Wichita for a church function.

Sounds like kels and my dad have the same feelings towards "visitors to the rural areas", not knowing the local area and tearing up the muddy roads in central KS. During hunting season, when someone walks up the driveway, typically from Kansas City or Wichita Metro areas, dressed like they just stepped out of a Cabela's catalog, he has been known to answer the door with "I'll start the tractor for $40.00." Never heard of a repeat offender.

That sucks about the boots kels.
