I get woke up today to take a little 350 mile road trip
to collect one of our wayward children.
Now he has only been in jail one day and he STINKS.
Dont meth heads ever take a BATH?
Thankfully the mini van we use for transport has
a cage behind the driver and it is plexaglass and steel.
With the two wing window open in the back and the
air on high, the smell wasnt to bad except when we
loaded and unloaded at the jail.

On a clear night, I can see the other deputies emergency lights at least 10 miles away.
But it isnt flat here LOL

I once had a patient who was so dirty I had to use alcohol prep pads to wash the spots where the EKG electrodes stick on because they were sticking to the dirt, not the skin, and kept coming off. If you've ever had an EKG, you know how much they stick when you pull them off later. Ouch. I used a whole bottle of disinfectant to decontaminate the truck afterward. That's a lot of smelly dirt.
Always we begin again.

haha!! I do that after one my patients uses my phone!!!! What I love is when an addict starts to clean up and realizes that their teeth are rotting from years of drug use and no dental care and tell me: "man, with dope, I had my teeth."

Alcoholics are apparently the same way. I know quite a few who seem to be "allergic" to soap and water. I don't know how they can stand themselves. It's unsanitary and unhealthy.

ROFl. I can sympathize. Many of my customers have odours that knock us silly when we receive them, let alone search them. And some of the ones that come from drophouses, well, .........:p
