The bad thing about tomatoes is that they are perishable :mad:

I was trying to get enough together at once to send to my wifes Aunt, (as well as another Forum member;) ) but between the splits (from over-watering) and the critters that were knocking them off the vine and gauging into them, and the work on the house, I managed to share some with the in-laws and some went to neighbors... but I didn't have many of the "nice pretties" that you'd like to give all at once...:mad:

I now have a better idea of how my next crop will be handled, though... and I will be starting with better water management, followed by fewer plants, planted all at once, in better cages... ;)

i couldn't care less if they are "pretty", the skin can be peeled ... nothing beats the taste of a fresh homegrown tomato ;)
