Actually I dont like chinooks, I must be a manitoba guy since I believe when winter starts it shoudl remain winter until the spring. None of this on again off again stuff like we have here. I just dont like all the slush and then dirty looking snow.

You are right chinooks are a nuisance. One day you wash your car the next it looks like crap. And I they give me headaches. Chinooks and cars.

While in Great Falls Montana, we had a chinook that took us from -23 to +27 in 10 minutes. That was pretty wild. I believe that Great Falls is THE windiest city in the USA. ( so they claimed) average of 12 mph year round.
